# Active Campaign

The Active Campaign function allows you to automatically send data from leads captured in your quiz directly to your Active Campaign account, an email marketing and automation platform.

**How to configure**

* Name: Give an internal name for the function (e.g., "Send to Active Campaign").

* API URL: Enter the API URL of your account.

Common example:

[https://YOURSUBDOMAIN.api-us1.com](https://YOURSUBDOMAIN.api-us1.com)

You can find this URL in your Active Campaign account, in the developer settings.

* API Key: Copy and paste your personal API key. It's used to authorize sending data.

* Tags: Add tags you want to associate with the lead in Active Campaign. Separate by comma if you want to add more than one (e.g., xquiz, lead\_ebook, fitness\_interest).

**Send Variables**

* Select the variables you created throughout the funnel (such as name, email, phone, result, etc.).

* These variables will be sent as custom fields in the contact registration.

**Mandatory attention!**

You must send a variable called email.

Without this, the integration doesn't work, as Active Campaign needs an email address to create or update a contact.

**Test Integration**

After configuring everything, click the "Test Integration" button to verify if the data is being sent correctly.

**When to use?**

* To automate email campaigns based on quiz responses.

* To segment contacts based on behavior and interest.

* To automatically feed automation flows within Active Campaign.
